Part of the Jefferson County Fairgrounds during my run. It had rained the night before, so the air was uncharacteristically hazy, but it was nice and cool, at least for a while:

Plots at the community garden in a neighborhood next to Green Mountain:

Run distance was 6.04 miles, time 1:04 (moving 59:16), elevation gain/loss 1,146 feet, avg. pace 10:36 (moving 9:49), and best pace 6:31.

At lunch I walked along Clear Creek off of Kipling Street.

It was overcast with a gentle rain at times, with the pitter-patter of rain drops hitting leaves. In spite of the rain it was a great walk.

After work the rain had cleared, and it was hot and sunny again. Amazing weather even with the heat. I stopped and walked around a park I found in the Applewood area. Any time you find a creek, there's likely to be parks near it, since nobody can build there and it is often acquired for recreation.

Hidden in the middle of a suburban area was a huge farm:
