This is the cut down through the cliffs which is my usual ascent/descent route on the west side. There's a second route to the south that is a bunch of switchbacks that avoids the cliffs, but that's no fun.
On my way back down, I noticed there was a new rock in the middle of the trail; not sure how I missed it on the way up. I'm glad I wasn't there when it fell off the mountain.
Distance was 7.15 miles, time 1:17 (moving 1:09), elevation gain/loss 651 feet, avg. pace 10:49 (moving 9:45), and best pace 6:48.
On one split I actually fell below 8:00 pace, which never happens. I've gradually put my aches and pains behind me, and started to run a little harder lately. I'm not sure I like it.
