Thursday Bear Creek Run

I didn't run early in the week due to cold, windy rain at the times I was free. Got a teeny run in on Wednesday, no mileage to speak of. By contrast, Thursday afternoon was spectacular, with blue skies, puffy clouds, moderate temperatures and the moisture finally bringing some green to the landscape.

I like crossing at this log "bridge" when I run here, just for fun. One of these days I'm going to fall in, but it adds a little interest.

The creek was really full, and the first Stone House water crossing near the golf course was about twice its usual width -- totally impassable as far as I'm concerned.

Distance was 6.43 miles, time 1:22 (moving 1:09), elevation gain/loss 141 feet, avg. pace 12:54 (moving 10:48).
