I'm pretty sure I saw crows playing around while they were flying down off the mountain, too. They weren't being combative, but they kept leapfrogging each other as they flew downhill, sort of buzzing each other in an innocent way. They're perfectly capable of flying apart from each other in unison, but they were like two teenagers pushing each other, messing around. I have no idea if that was really going on, but sometimes I think I should have been a field biologist so I can find out.
