Laissez-faire capitalism, Libertarianism and other types of advocacy limited-government don't really advocate any particular actions you would take as a private citizen; in fact, that's the entire point of those political philosophies.
Instead, they protect everyone's right to make up their own mind about what to do. Including looking out for each other.
