Thursday North Table Mtn Run

A slow and steady run up the east side of North Table. I didn't have much daylight left and just wanted to run some easy switchbacks to the top.

I like the geology and the scrubby vegetation of these foothill runs. The rocks are brick-red, and probably from the same strata as the rocks that form Red Rocks Amphitheater a few miles to the south. I didn't pass a soul on this run, and yet it was a beautiful evening. Go figure. Coors Brewing in the valley:

Distance was 4.11 miles, time 54:50 (moving 47:00), elevation gain/loss 712 feet, avg. pace 13:21 (moving 11:27), and best pace 7:31.
