Tuesday Green Mtn Lakewood Run

A run up and over part of the local hill. It's been very hot during the day, but temperatures were amazingly comfortable in the evening, just on the border between warm and cool.

I could see billowing smoke from the Black Forest fire northeast of Colorado Springs:

I took a short detour onto streets before running back up into the dark hills to finish my run. Good to have the headlamp, because the hills were black and paths were invisible without extra light.

Distance was 7.42 miles, time 1:45 (moving 1:22), elevation gain/loss 1,539 feet, avg. pace 14:14 (moving 11:05), and best pace 7:16.
