Sunday Chatfield 1-Lap Run

I don't know why I thought I was going to run two laps of Chatfield Reservoir (16 miles each) with lingering PF and still a bit of back-of-heel pain. It was quite warm, the sun was out, the heels were achy, and I didn't think the best way to deal with that was to engage in more bodily overuse. It was all I could do to run one lap.

According to the literature, this cabin is one of the oldest standing houses in the area, built around 1856. It has grass and cactus on the roof:

Distance was 16.39 miles, time 3:37 (moving 3:04), elevation gain/loss 310 feet, avg. pace 13:15 (moving 11:17), and best pace 8:40.

And thus ends a busy month of running. Lots of miles, running most days. The body is feeling it, and I need to reboot the maintenance such as massage, rolling and stretches as if I'm gearing up in the spring, because I'm just not used to it yet.
