Colorado Trail Hike

A hike with Dad on the Colorado Trail west of Durango during Christmas week. When we started out skies were blue and sunny, but clouds were brewing over the La Platas:

It was cold in the shade.

Snowfall hit about halfway in, but it was sunny again back in town. So different in the hills vs. in town. Just a little ways up the valley gets more snow.

Nice to get out for a hike with my father.
